Telling the Time

This week we have been learning how to read the time on an analogue clock.

We have been looking at why some times are quarter past, half past, or quarter to the hour. It was a great way to make connections with the work we recently did on fractions.

Please continue to encourage your child to tell you the time.

Art Exhibition

Last week was our school's art exhibition. 
The students should feel very proud of their individual pieces and the class collaborative piece which was on display in the hall on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Room 7 students are busy this week finalising the filming and editing of their short films for the Ako Hiko Film Festival.

With a Term's focus around Everyday Heroes, the 3-minute films depict the same message. Everyday people being everyday heroes. 

Be sure to ask your child about their film, and what message they are giving.
