  1. Hello Room 24!
I think to get ready if a disaster happens is to get a kit and put things like a torch, dry food, medical things like first aid kit and a back-bag to put everything in. And another way is to do a meeting spot so they can meet with the whole family. What do you think are some ways to prepare for a disaster?

  6. Kia Ora room 24, and Miss Burt! ๐Ÿค—
What are some things that people can do to prepare for a disaster? Great question!!
Maybe a meeting place, and before hand make a plan to use all the time. Also you could always have an emergency bag in every room, and its always there. So just in case you could always get it. In each bag it shall have caned food, a torch of any kind, and maybe a gas stove! We have a very small one so that could be in the lounge (The biggest room) in the lounge emergency bag. The bags would also have spare batteries if the torches run out, and fresh water. What disaster do you fear most? Why?

  17. Kia ora Room 24,
What I would put in a kit if there was an disaster, the stuff I would take will be: Safety kit, food in cans, water bottles, dried food, torch, batteries, a book and a pencil or a pen.
If I want to have a meeting out side then I would have a meeting next to an letter box or the car or something, because I would of been in a rush because there would of been a earthquake that came like minutes ago.

If there was a disaster like an earthquake then I would go in the garage only if it is under the ground.

What would you pack in your safety kit if there was an disaster?
