Yesterday at Owairaka school, we had our 'Cultural Unity Day'. It was a fantastic day celebrating different cultures from around the world. The school was a sea of lovely bright colours as students were dressed in a variety of cultural clothes from around the world.
A huge thank you to the parents who were able to share some stories, games, food, and history from their own cultures. It was a great day for learning something new about a culture that was different from our own.
Kia ora Room 24, thank you for sharing your Cultural Unity Day photos with us. It was a very special day!
