  1. Hello Room 24!
I think tidying up after an earthquake is a hard job because they need lots of people to help and special tools and check that it is safe to tidy up that zone.
It is hard in diffrant ways like liquefaction is hard to dig out and they need to put it in a place safe.
Why do you think tidying up is a hard job?

I think two reasons tidying up after the quake is a huge job:
One, is for the builders. There is so much junk and parts of buildings on the ground, and clean up the liquefaction.
Two, is for the people who live in Christchurch. They have to tidy up their house.
    Whats your answer?
    Bye bye

  3. kia ora room 24 i think that it would be hard to clean up after the quake because
there is so much and you need heavy equipment to do it all.
Also you need a lot of people to do it
that's it for this week blog you later.

  4. Kia ora Room 24.Cleaning up after a quake
is a big job because Liquefaction is covering
chunks of buildings and you have
to dig it out in your house
    which is a hard because
    you need a shovel.
    Why do you think
    its hard to
    clean?.bye

  5. Hello Room 24,
It is important to clean up after a earthquake because the objects and things you have in your house might fly out onto the roads and that can be very dangerous for people who walk on the foot path and it can also be dangerous for cars that go by. Another reason why its important to clean up is because you have to dig up liquefaction with special equipment.
    What do you think?

  8. Kia ora room 24 I thin that tyding up a earthquake is a hard job beacuse.....
1.They have to dig up lquifaction which needs spiceal tools.
    2. They need to clean up the buliding that have collapsed and have made a big mess.
    3. They need to take the cars that have fallen down the broken roads.
Do you think I am right??

  9. Kia Ora Room 24,
Tidying up after an earthquake is a big job because lot's buildings have crumbled to the ground and so then the people have to use there hands a lot to pick up stuff like bricks, from buildings and metal and all sorts of hard things.
Plus you need diggers and all sorts of machinery stuff.
Why is it hard to clean up after an earthquake?

  11. Kia Ora Ms Burt, and Room 24! Why is tidying up after the quake such a huge job? Wow. Interesting question! Well It would be and ENORMOUS job to clean up liquefaction, because it would be able to get almost ANYWHERE!! (Sorry for the exaggeration.) So It would also be hard because you might have to check if the buildings wont fall as you dig out the liquefaction. Imagine if a building FELL on you. Terrible. Also your homes windows, china, pottery, and plates and all that stuff may be shattered! What would you do if a earthquake hit RIGHT NOW?!?

  12. hi room 24 this is what I think why its so hard to rebuild a city after a huge quake
    1. its not only a town its a whole city they won't know where to begin
    2. they don't know when they find the next dead body or hurt person
    3. they might not have enough builders to rebuild the city!
    4. they don't know when the next earthQuake will happen
    5. there are fires from the earthquakes they have to put out!
do you have any other Ideas to add to the list? blog you later

  13. kia ora Room 24 i think it is hard because they need special equipment to clean it up and they need like firetrucks and a ambulance just in case they find people as they go.
what do you think why is it a huge job to clean after a quake?

  14. Kia Ora Room 24, The reason why I think it is a really huge job to tidy up a earthquake is because there can be a lot of things out there like Liquor faction and glass. There is also a lot of houses that are reaked and that cant even stand up. And pieces of dangerous stuff can be smashed and reaked because of the rolling tumbling around from the earthquakes. You will need strong tools to dig out the liquor faction and diggers to do jobs around your city town or country's.

What do you think why it is a huge jog to tidy up earthquakes?

  15. Hi Room 24
it's such a big job because you have to dig up liquefaction with special equipment and you have to pick up all such of things like paintings, cups, plates and other things.
    have you had a earthquake?

  16. kia ora room24 I think that it's hard to clean up after an earthquake because so much stuff has been ruined and or collapsed. There is also the problem that it might be another after shock. Another problem is Liquefaction it rises up in huge amounts and then settles a few minutes or hours later. This makes cleaning up the Wreckage hard Because so much of it is buried in the liquefaction.Do you know any other difficulties of cleaning up after an earthquake that I didn't talk about ? blog you later
