Kia ora Room 24 I think that the most devasting effects are..... 1. The Liqufaction have Taken down the cars and houses. 2. The army have to take the salt out of the water os they can give it to the people. 3. People are trapped inside buliding and the army has to rescue the people. 4.The people have run out of power. Do you think I am rigth??? Blog you later!!! Vibhore

Bonjur Room 24 and some of the most devastating effects of the earthquake are all of the lives that have been taken, Most of the historic buildings, Lots of after shock, Some dead pets or missing ones, And all of the trauma kids and maybe adults got. What do you think of my comment and have you ever been in a earthquake. Blog you later.
Kia Ora Room 24 I think that most devastating parts were when biding fall people lost there house's and cars the swat team had to sack up the salt waters to filters creaks everywhere shops foods are on the floor.
Kia ora Room 24 The most devastating effects of the earthquake for me were: People's cars are liquefied Many innocent people were killed Many people's houses were broken and collapsed. Blog you later John
Kia Ora Room 24, The Earthquake created liquefaction. And cars were sucked in. There had to be diggers and drills to dig out the liquefaction.Because it was to hard for spades to dig in. There also was heaps of cracks made on motorways and no longer cars were able to drive but only when it was safe again. Children had fun building castles out of liquefaction and the bits on the road were fun to build a really cool bridge. There were snow storms and there was no point putting the heater on because it just goes out the holes in the house or the cracks. And the house that The Lion The Witch In The Wardrobe was filmed in has been really badly hit and damaged. And a lot people have died or have had to get parts of there body removed. And some family's have lost some of there family's lives. It was not the greatest in some parts of Christchurch.
Is your answer the same as mine or different then mine? Blog you later! Lucy

Large rocks crashed into houses, and 'Army people' (Don't know what to call them sorry) had to clean out salt in sea water for people to drink. Supermarkets were messy, houses were tilted on their side, and liquefaction filled the streets. But that's not all. Memorial sites were shaken to the floor! Terrible. What would YOU do if a earthquake hit right now? Blog you later, Aoibheann.

Also that the children use the big bumps on the road as ramps for there skate boards and scooters, even the children use the liquefaction to make sand castles because the liquefaction is like wet sand and dirt.
But the people in Christchurch have to clean all the liquefaction up because the cars get stuck in it, also the buildings that is in Christchurch are very badly damaged.
