  3. Kia Ora Room 24, and Ms Burt! I liked it because it actually tells you all about a thing that is true but they used a fiction character. It was very sad though. I give this book an 8/10. I learnt lots of new stuff, like I learnt all about liquefaction, and I got to learn more about the Canterbury Quake. The most memorable thing is probably when Maddy and her friend were in the library, and the bookshelves started to move around the room. Do you think that you give it an 8/10? What do you rate it? Why??

  4. Hello Room 24!
I enjoyed this book so much. I would give it 5 stars because it just gave me more info about earthquakes and liquefaction and about historical sites and demolished places. The most memorable part was when the last earthquake came and it was snowing. How many stars would you give this book?

  8. Hello bloggers
I kind of enjoyed it because it was funny but I kind of didn't because it didn't really get to the point of the story it just went on and on. I think the most memorable part was that lots of people died when we we're just safe here in Auckland. I learnt that there even was an earthquake because I didn't know that there was an earthquake in Canterbury.
    What is your answer?
    Bye bye

  10. kia ora room 24 The Canterbury quake novel was very interesting And very cool. It was Also very tragic because so many people died. Something I found the most interesting is that Dusty The family cat sensed the earthquake before anyone else. That was pretty memorable. The part I enjoyed the most was the descriptive words used in the writing. What's your review on the Canterbury quake novel? Blog you later

  11. Bonjur Room 24 and did I enjoy it yes but also no because of all the deaths And most of all that all that suff is real I know the earthquakes but all of the death just made me uncomfortable. The memorable part that I remember is the end when it snowed because well I haven't seen snow in my life only on videos. I learned to never give up because when maddys best friend left she gave up on most of the things they did but then her bully stepped up and became nice she helped her so she will never give up again. What did you learn and have you read this book. Blog you later and have a good day.

  18. Hello Room 24,
What I enjoyed about the book called Canterbury Quakes is it's very interesting because, All the interesting sentences that actually made me think what is the biggest earth quake in the world.

The most memorable part about the story is when the first earthquake come to Christchurch and everybody is very scared and they are all hoping that they will all not die.

I learn't that the earthquakes where very big in Christchurch and the after shocks where almost as big as the normal earthquakes that suddenly happen, when everybody is all calmed down.

What did you enjoy about the Canterbury quakes book?

  21. Kia Ora Room 24, I kind of forgot so here is my story of what i remember.

So there were really good friends and they both live in Christchurch with there family's then they have a singing compation and they are against Zoe and and her friends are all up against each other. But they think they will be alright but then what Maddy is feeling is that they are so good and it is possible that they will win. But then a really bad earthquake hit and they had lots and lots of big aftershocks there houses were wrecked and every one was so scared and sad and upset and also angry but I think mostly stressed because they have had heaps and heaps of earthquakes. But then I think it was Tessa she was leaving Christchurch Maddy's best friend ever she was leaving because her family could not ever live in there house again. This is the last thing that i could remember that then Zoe and Maddy buddyed up and did a recording on for there song. And they were really good.
The most memorable part is when Maddys friend left and she was really really sad. And then what did I learn from it is that you should always treat your family good and know that they are feeling like you but worse.

Do you think i am right?
